New guy here at site, but I am anything but "new" as I have been working on bikes for over 45 years.

I enjoy working on bikes and I have been helping others at other sites. Worked on bikes for over 45 years and was the service manager for several years at a very large bike shop locally.
This shop handled many brands of new bike as well as working on many other brands.
I am still an active rider, but I am coming up on 70 years of as shortly.

Welcome paw paw!!!

70 gives you atleast another 30 yrs of seat time provided that you drink a glass of red wine once a day. I must warn you as we are all serious dirtbike guys with a not so serious internet demeanor. So strap on some boots and get to the good riding stories:thumb::cheers:

Welcome! I'm sure you'll have plenty to teach all of us.

Like Mike said, most of us are pretty passionate about dirt bikes, but online we're a pretty light hearted bunch and what may seem "mean" to some is simply light hearted banter.

Welcome Paw Paw... some one a little older than me...finally.... now I can relax.....

I too am active "when I ride"..... :smirk:

Remember ...You quit riding because you get old, you get old because you quit riding!
I have 4 riding buddies that range in age from 65 to 78 years old. WE may be slow, but
there is nobody on the track having as much fun as we do.

True and very true... I ride primarily desert with a DS thrown in (1 actually) which was a blast until my leg cramped up and then we had to ride the "FREEWAY"... :foul:.

Considering coming out of retirement this coming season................ :cripple:

The name comes from the grand son's. That is what they have called me for over 20 years now.
I have a son and two grand son's that all ride and race. It has been a great family sport for many, many, many, many years now.

Very cool, I got my girls and boys into riding just over ten years ago now. Two of the four girls ride and both my boys, they all be over the age of 18 now. My grand daughter is almost two and she loves her KTM strider. Not many words out of her yet, but she calls me opa, German for grandpa.
Love the family sport, not racers, just free ride the desert and mountains depending on time of the year.
