Grip Glues

Curious, are there any slow drying grip glues? By this I mean something that will take longer than 30 seconds to dry, preferably about 3 minutes or so. Generally speaking most glues require that you let it dry over night to completely cure anyway. At least if its slow drying the glue will act more as a lubricant while you put on your grips and give you time to the grips set up as you want.

The little Scotts grip sticks are perfect. slow drying so it allows the grip to slide right on. That's what I use, and a little twist of safety wire for added security, but so far I have never even needed the wire.

I haaaaaaate instant dry grip glue... use wire

That would be easier for sure. Do you ever have problems with your grips slipping on you especially if you get moisture between the grips and the bars? Maybe I should invest in a grip wire tool? Do you have one or do you just tighten the wires with pliers?
