125 Cracked Engine YZ 125

Just bought a 01 yz 125, it has a crack underneath the kickstart on the right side of bike and a hairline crack around the right side of the oil cap just above kick. The previous owner used some sort of jb weld on the one below kickstart so not sure the size of it.

Expensive? Can it be welded?

Any help is greatly appreciated

I think that piece can be replaced for a little more than it could be welded for.
Try bike bandit or Motosport

Welding side covers and cases may warp the sealing edges. If you do weld them, be prepared to do some machining.
Yamahabond gasket sealer is probably in your future if the weld comes withing .25-.5" of the sealing surface at the least. If you have free access to heliarc I would try it first. Center cases it is a little scarier on than that one though.
