2004 Yz 125 HELP!

So I am new to 2 strokes and need some help. My bike starts 1 or 2 kick cold, but when I go and ride for a while then try to start it again when the bike is warm is doesnt want to start. HELP PLEASE! new to 2 strokes.

Sounds to me like you may need to richen your jets on the carb. For easier starting when hot. Or maybe the floats in the carb need to be adjusted. Does the bike run out of power while you ride it?

the last seems like a question that needs to be asked, but the owner probably cant give you a good answer for the reason he stated "I am new"

well if you reread that part I wrote about how the float probably hasnt been set since it left the factory.......? maybe you could start there. cleaning a carburetor is always nice when you have it open though. the float needle could have junk on it too.

Troyer349.

So there is three things to look into.
1. carburetor (clean and check jets)
2. Top End (check piston and rings for blow by)
3. Reed Peddles (check for chipped, cracked or frayed)
