RM125 2003 suzuki rm 125 CLUTCH problem.

Hi guys its me again with another question.
Is it normal when im stoping while in 1st gear with the clutch pulled all the way in, when i come to a full stop and the rpm drop down to idle the bike wants to move a bit?? Not a lot , but enough to feel like it wants to move. If i rev it up a bit its fine. This only happens when i come to a full stop,
I don't seem to have that issue when im in neutral and i put in 1st . Only when i come to a stop while in gear.
I tried to adjust the clutch line but if i tighten it more it wont have any play at the lever.
Any suggestions ? Do you think its time for new clutch plates ?

Its the clutch basket. New plates will make the clutch not engage (aka Not move). Not create that grabby feel. The notches in your basket are causeing the clutch plates not to move smoothly

I have no idea how old the plates are , or what shape the're in, i got the bike at the end of last season, and last year it wasnt an issue.
What should i look for when inspecting the clutch basket??

How come when that happens and i bring the rpm up a little bit it stops pulling ?? Like i said it only happens when i come to a full stop.

It stops because the motor is revving high enough to overcome the minor drag and centrifugal force probably spreads the plates apart. You should be looking for notches in the inner and outer basket, the outer always wears before the inner so inspect that first. I meant to say "old plates" in the first post, not new btw

Is there anyway a basket can be fixed ?? Rather than buying a new one ?
yeah with a mill bastard file filing so all the grooves are gone...when the stock basket finally wears out a good one is a vortex basket or a hinson...love suzukis but hate the clutch baskets
